Kleven verft and Myklebust verft has entered into an agreement of implementation of Compello.
Compello strengthens its leadership team
Compello Software AS has made two exciting changes to its leadership team by appointing a new managing director and a new CTO. Gustav Line takes over as managing director and will oversee Compello’s continued growth both in Norway and internationally while Yngvar Ugland becomes CTO, and will guide the development of Compello’s already strong suite of software products.
Gustav Line has worked in the IT industry for 14 years. For the past 6 years he has been a director at Microsoft with responsibility for the Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Business Solutions, among others. Microsoft Business Solutions includes Microsoft’s financial and CRM. Gustav also has considerable experience with well-known ERP vendors such as Navision, Damgaard and PC-Systemer (now Visma). He relishes the prospect of working in a market growing quickly, driven by a combination of pressure to control costs by automating processes where possible and increased demands for governance. Companies are more or less obliged to have control of their financial transactions and obligations, he points out.
Yngvar Ugland has worked in the IT industry for 10 years. Recently he was the consulting director at Masterminds and then at Inmeta. Before that he worked for Microsoft for seven years where he advised their leading software partners on strategic architectural matters and development methodologies. Yngvar is excited at the prospect of using Compello’s existing product platform as a springboard to exploit the tremendous opportunities in the market. He will set about this task by creating a core based on modern architectural principles and using the latest development techniques.
These new members of the leadership team join a company with 12 years’ experience in the market, skilled employees and a well established customer base.
