The Leadership of the Compello Group
Gustav Line has been the managing director of Compello Software since 2008 and took on the responsibility as CEO of the Compello Group after the merge with Client Computing Europe ASA in 2011. He has worked for several software companies since 1994. Before Compello, Gustav worked 6 years for Microsoft Norway as a Director for Microsoft Dynamics and Office Systems. Prior to Microsoft, he worked for Navision, Damgaard and Visma. Gustavs holds a BSc in Management Sciences (University of Manchester) and an MSc degree in International Banking & Finance from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. He has also worked for an Italian bank, IMI, in London.
Anne Gretland is Chief Operating Officer in Compello Group, and has worked in Compello since 2015. Anne has extensive organizational and management experience from Microsoft, both in Norway and Western Europe HQ level. She has held various leadership roles in the sales and partner business, including WE Director of Microsoft Intellectual property rights. Her education is in Marketing and Communication from UCLA, and Public Relations and HRM from BI, in addition to Political science at UIO. Anne Gretland is co-founder and part of the advisory board of ODA; a network for women in the Norwegian IT-industry, with 7000 members.
Camilla Bakjord is Chief Marketing Officer/ Director of Marketing for the Compello Group. Camilla has been responsible for marketing in Compello Software from 2003, and for the Compello Group since the merger with Client Computing Europe in 2011. Since she joined Compello, Camilla has been an important part of building up the company from a start-up to the international company it is today. Camilla has 20 years extensive experience in marketing, communication and design from Compello and other international IT companies.
Torgeir Letting has been the CEO of Compello Norway since 2017, responsible for the Norwegian operation of Compello Group. Before he was the Sales Director of Compello AS leading sales and consulting. He has 10 years of experience from the telecom industry where he held several positions within the companies BaneTele and Ventelo. He has worked with different types of partners (wholesale operators, system integrators, resellers) and directly with end customers, both nationally and internationally. The last position he held in Ventelo was as sales manager with responsibility for national and international partners. Torgeir holds a BBus in Marketing & Management from Griffith University, Australia.
Magnus Ernolf has been the managing director of Client Computing Sweden since 2006, which in 2012 changed name to Compello AB after the merger between the Client Computing group and Compello Software AS. He has worked for several companies before Compello including Radiall AB as a Key account manager dealing with Ericsson and Saab regarding high frequency transmission. Magnus is a technical college graduate and has put his focus into sales and management.
Andreas Waldbrenner has been Managing Director since September 2016 and was previously Head of Consulting & Support at Compello for three years. He has over 20 years of experience as Head of Consulting & Support in a software company. For three years, he was responsible for skills development and HR in an international group. As a student, already, Andreas founded and ran an IT company in the healthcare area. He has an education as a medical doctor and resides in Germany.
Strategy and Alliance Director
Yngvar Ugland has been the Director of R&D of Compello Software since 2008 and took on the role as Director of R&D in the Compello Group after the merge with Client Computing Europe ASA in 2011. He has worked for several software and consulting companies since 1998. Before Compello, Yngvar worked as Director of Consulting and CTO in several training and consulting companies and start-ups. Prior to this, he worked for Microsoft for 8 years out of London and Oslo. His role in Microsoft was advisory services and training in develoment tools, methodology, architectural strategies and business-to-technology-mapping, with a focus on independent software vendors (ISVs). Yngvar holds a Master og Science in Applied Mathematics (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) with a thesis on distributed computing with commodity computers, the principles that later was commercialized under the term “grid computing”.
