Compello AS Software Company of 2014
The choice of Compello AS, from 2000 software companies, as Norway’s best independent software partner at Microsoft’s Partner Conference in Washington in July emphasizes the company’s focus on cloud solutions and mobile devices.
“Compello stands out as an early adopter of all Microsoft’s strategic products. The company has an extensive cloud business – both public (Windows Azure) and private. Compello’s clear strategy is to place solutions for cloud and for mobile devices at the centre of all they do so that these solutions are embedded in their product spectrum. Compello has developed native apps for Windows Phone and Windows 8.1, with pioneering work in that area and has created one of the first business apps in Europe for Windows 8,” said Michael Jacobs, CEO for Microsoft Norway
Compello has 95 employees in three countries. The company’s declared strategy is to create scalable growth through its partners and it invests significantly in developing solutions which are simple to implement.
“Norway has highly skilled resources and there are many good software companies. Compello invests a great deal in order to stay ahead technologically, so we are delighted to be chosen Independent Software Partner of the year for 2014. It is an important recognition of the efforts of all the staff and our partners.
IT is developing in an exciting way, in that users expect to have services that are easily accessible from their devices. Compello now processes 50 million transactions in the cloud. We have over 100 000 users and it is important for all of these that we look after their investment and give them the best possible user experience, as well as developing new services. The collaboration with Microsoft and the platform Microsoft provides is a vital condition for our expansion in the coming years,” said Compello CEO, Gustav Line.
